Good questions

The Fine Print, Minus the Fine Print

Spending a few thousand dollars to travel with people you haven’t met deserves real answers. Here are the ones we get most.

Who’s going

Who will I be traveling with?

People in their 20s, 30s, and some early 40s who like to go out. Most book solo. Trips are co-ed and capped small, usually 16 to 30 people, so it stays a crew rather than a tour group.

Can I come on my own?

Yes, and most people do. You’ll meet everyone in the group chat weeks before the trip, and the first night is built around getting the group together. Nobody shows up not knowing anyone for long.

Can I book with my partner, a friend, or a group?

Of course. Couples, pairs, and groups of three or four are all welcome. Tell us when you sign up and we’ll keep you roomed and grouped together.

What’s the actual vibe? How much partying?

There’s dancing, DJs, and big nights out, that’s the point. But there’s also free time, slow mornings, and days you can spend however you want. It’s social and high-energy without being a 24-hour rager.

Rooming

Will I share a room? With who?

The standard price is per person sharing. We pair you with a same-gender roommate based on a short questionnaire (sleep schedule, habits, how hard you like to go out), so you’re matched on the things that matter.

Can I get my own room?

Yes. Add a private room for the single-room price listed on each trip. There are only a few per trip and they go first, so grab one early if that’s your thing.

Money

How do payments work?

A small deposit locks your spot today. The rest is split into equal monthly payments, with the final one due before you fly. Each trip page shows the deposit and the monthly amount.

What’s included in the price?

Your room at the group house, airport transfers, the parties and group events we host, and Vibe Odyssey hosts on the ground the whole trip. Festival trips include your ticket or wristband.

What’s not included?

Flights, travel insurance, most meals, and your personal spending money. We spell out exactly what’s in and out on every trip page so there are no surprises.

Is my deposit refundable? What if I have to cancel?

The deposit holds your spot and isn’t refundable. After that, cancellation terms depend on how far out you are, and we lay them out in plain English before you pay anything. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover the unexpected.

On the trip

Do I book my own flights?

Yes. Once your trip is confirmed we send the arrival airport and a recommended arrival window so the group lands around the same time. Airport transfers on our end are included.

Do I need a passport or visa?

For international trips, yes, you’ll need a valid passport, and some destinations need a visa depending on your nationality. We send a checklist per trip, but entry requirements are ultimately on you.

What does a typical day look like?

Mornings are usually open. Afternoons are a mix of group activities and your own plans. Nights are where the trip earns its name. Some days the whole group moves together; others you pick from a menu of options.

Is it safe?

You’re never on your own unless you want to be. We use vetted houses, work with local guides, and have hosts with the group throughout. Traveling as a group is one of the safest ways to see a new place.

What if I want some time to myself?

Nothing is mandatory. Skip a day, sleep in, go read on the beach. The schedule has built-in free time on purpose.
